New Delhi, 26 April 2023. The Delhi Union of Journalists elected its new executive committee and office bearers on Monday, April 24, 2023. Chief Returning Officer Dr. Satish Misra announced that the following panel was elected unopposed late in the evening. He was assisted by Sunil Kumar and Sanjay Kumar as Assistant Returning Officers.

The new team is a mixture of new and old faces with a tilt towards the young as the DUJ is in transition into a new phase of activity, committed to democratization and modernization. The DUJ will organize more professional and cultural activities and defend journalists’ rights and freedom of press at a time when they are under grave threat.
